Welcome to the The Mendip Sevens, a Junior Rugby Sevens competition open to clubs everywhere!

Looking for a rugby tour to Somerset, the West Country, or Weston-super-Mare?

WE ARE GO FOR 2022!!! After a two year break we are back and will FINALLY be hosting our tenth tournament on Sunday 1st May 2022!!

Winscombe RFC is near Weston-super-Mare in Somerset which has plentiful accommodation for touring sides.  Many of our visitors stay in local holiday camps, and if you would also like matches on the Saturday we'll accommodate you if we can, and if not we can connect you with other local clubs.

NEWS

27-April-2022 - All tournament information has now been emailed to coaches for circulation to parents; we've not had time to arrange a programme this year so please make sure you have copies with you.  If you have NOT received anything then please get in touch!

24-April-2022 - POOLS ARE NOW POSTED, along with pitch allocations and pool stage match times.  After the pool stage there will be cup and plate semi-finals (and also shield at U13), followed by the finals.  Should be all done around 3pm.

18-April-2022 - Really must remember to update this page!  It's all going very well, U13 is full, we have one remaining space at U14 and none at U15 BUT could expand either (but not both!) so if you have teams you'd like to enter then please get in touch.  Note that the pools etc shown on the age group page are still for the last tournament and I will update when we have final confirmed entries.

12-April-2022 - Many thanks to The Storage Company, who will be sponsoring the referees shirts this year.  We have, however, decided not to act on their idea that the shirts be printed with targets on them.

08-April-2022 - Everyone will be pleased to hear that Mr Mikey Ice Cream will again be at the tournament!  They've always been great supporters so please buy as much ice-cream as you possibly can while still being able to play.

31-March-2022 - First-aid provision this year will be by DC Event Medical, making the long trip from Havant with the ambulance.
